Greenville, OH Man Proud To Go Solar!
Mr. Tom Morrison was thrilled with the installation of his 3 kW array. Morrison installed twelve Canadian Solar C56P model 250 watt poly-crystalline panels to go along with his SMA Sunnyboy string inverter. His panel efficiency is over 16% while his inverter efficiency is 96%.
"In fact, I called around for several years looking into solar," said Morrison. "Back in 2008, 2009, when I was living in Pennsylvania I called and spoke to sales reps way back then looking into it."
His system is forecasted to produce 4,000 kWh of electricity per year. This is enough to offset the burning of two tons of coal. Based on a state average of $0.12 per kWh, this would be savings of nearly $480 a year.
"I'm trying to redesign my house to make it more environmentally friendly. I'm researching other options to see what others have done. I recycle, I support eco-friendly causes."
Morrison contracted with YellowLite over two years ago and the panels were installed in July of 2014. When asked what the deciding factor was between YellowLite and other solar companies, Morrison said that it was solar consultant Kevin's professionalism and polite manner. "Kevin was fantastic" said Morrison. "The installation went perfectly. It was a beautiful, clean job."
Mr. Morrison said he was looking to expand his system in the future. "Unfortunately, I couldn't get a bigger system. I am planning on expanding the system as soon as I can. I see a decrease in my bill and that tells me it's working. It's fantastic."
Morrison had been thinking about solar for a long time and conducted a tremendous amount of research before he reached out to YellowLite.
"They were very professional. It was all good. I was very impressed with every detail of YellowLite as a customer. I was very satisfied."
The equity that has been added to the Morrison's house is approximately $9,500. It should be noted that the added equity value to your property is based on a rate of $3.11 a watt from the latest research but it is always a good idea to contact your realtor.
