According to the latest report published by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), about 500,000 renewable industry jobs have been generated so far. Compared to 2016, renewable industry jobs have increased by 5.7% in 2017.
Solar energy is popular among other renewable energy options because of the following major benefits:
- It accounts for huge reductions in carbon emissions and accounts to curb pollution.
- It is a form of clean energy.
- Several financial incentives are given to solar investors.
With the IRENA report findings, people have found another reason to go solar. The report further elaborates that among all the countries, China is the biggest solar energy investor. So China can be entitled as world’s largest Solar energy employer. Other countries which have employed a maximum number of employers in the solar industry include Brazil, U.S, India, Germany and Japan. A report also suggests that 60% of the employers are based in Asia.
While people are raving about China being the leading investor in renewable energy, the report suggests that U.S and Russia have shown great potential and can catch up with China in the coming years.
Asia has set a great example for other continents to follow. A major environmental change can be anticipated if developed countries like China play their part. Motivated enough? Go on and request a quote now.
